Learn From the Wonderful World of “Ants”

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim..

Basically(pada dasarnya) all of the people sometimes will be getting bored(bosan) and feeling burned out(jenuh) of doing something again and again of course so do I, when I got the situation like that I tried to decide(memutuskan) do not bring my self into felt down(lesu) in such a long time and as soon as possible, sit quietly(dengan tenang), speak loudly(dengan keras) “come on being spirit Lam”, and use my time reading or writing some useful(berguna) and make me enthusiasm(antusias) then.

I writed this one is intended for me and anybody who suffer from sad, failure(kegagalan) and get lazy time. I do believe there is always something good in everything and we can learn from anything in the universe about perfection created by our Rabb.  In order to(supaya) make this essay easy to understand the point and enjoy, difficult words or expression are translated into indonesian.

I still memorized when I have had some assignments to do but laziness(kemalasan) went to(menghampiri) me on doing that. What a lazy am I at the time..^^

Then I tried to get my assignment over with(menyelesaikan) and looked around suddenly(tiba-tiba) my eyes darted(tertuju) to a smooth traffic(kelancaran lalu lalang) of cute little ants crawling(merangkak) across the chaotic(berantakan) desk of mine, passing through the laptop which has been idle(diam) for quite some time. I knew that I should be preparing some materials for lecturing(mengajar) and doing proposal project plan but then I am so fascinated(terpesona) and ended up(berakhir dengan) studying the world of ants.

Let me share with you what I saw from the ants make me amazed(takjub) and curiosity(penasaran) to know more. Some of us may never have heard how skilful and intelligent ants are and may even think of them as simple insects that wander(berkeliaran) around all day without doing anything. But those of us who think like that are mistaken, because ants, just like many other living things, also have a life of their own.

The most amazing thing about these tiny little ants is that they never gotstuck(terjebak) in traffic jam! It is kind of funny but try to look at them, you will see, they do notovertake(menyalip) each other. I think people should take traffic control lessons from these little creatures. Seriously.

No wonder, they’re ants. They will not get hurt if they bumped into(bertemu) each other ! ^^

But these little ants, the worker ants, barely(hampir) bigger than our eye crust(kerak mata), have the ability to follow a trail, move in a line, wander around and search for food, carry heavy load over their tiny head, and work together to create entire(seluruh) underground civilizations(peradaban)! That tiny little ant, with a tiny little head, and a tiny little brain, no more than just a few brain cells connected together, can actually think about their other millions of brothers and sisters at home who needed food, they sacrifice themselves to go to the outside world which is full of obstacles(rintangan) and dangers, where their tiny body can easily be smashed(dihancurkan) anytime. But they never fail to perform their duty assigned to them!

They are remarkably(betul-betul) hard working creatures, aren’t they? They work so hard to drag a piece of food. And they never give up too! Ants never quit! Try to stop them, they’ll surely find another way. They even worked themselves to death!

How possibly these tiny creatures with tiny brains managed to ensure(menjamin) the survival(kelangsungan hidup) of the colony?

This is absolutely the proof(bukti) that they are acting on the inspiration of a certain “supervisor”. It is true! these ants can establish such a great and perfect order, and all their works are made possible by an inspiration of Our Rabb Allah has given them. And they abide(mematuhi) by it, completely. Subhanallah..

“They said ‘Glory be(Maha Suci) to You! We have no knowledge except what You have taught us. You are the All-Knowing(Maha Tahu), the All-Wise(Maha Bijaksana)”. (Surat al-Baqarah: 32)

What about us? Whose brains are a billion times bigger than that of ants? Have we performed our duty Allah has assigned to us? What a question to ponder upon(direnungkan)?

Those cute ants really made me think about sacrifice(pengorbanan), to be more hard working, to be more organized, helping and sharing with others, brave, and of course, they tell me that I really need some cleaning here!^^

Think of the little ants. And remember, you can carry a lot more on your shoulders! Never give up, look ahead, stay positive and doing your best all you can..
